Web Design Templates
We'll use this folder to build a new Adams Site design and keep notes regarding links and other things.
Don't have a clue how the new site will look, so don't ask.
--------------------
Right now, I own 2/3rd's of Adams Site and you own 1/3rd of it. As of the end of March 2007, the site earns about $450 in commissions per month. If you work on the site with me and we get it up to above $1800 commissions in any one month, we'll start spliting it 50/50 for the next month and all months thereafter. If not, it will just make what it makes, of which I get 2/3rd's and you get a 1/3rd.

Finding New Inbound Links
The best method for finding new potential links is to search for any keyword on our list (below) and examine the top 100 results for that keyword. Search in all three of the big search engines (Google, Yahoo, and MSN). You could go further than 100 on really big keywords (such as "web templates" or "flash templates") but you'll need to have some sort of stopping point. Look over each of those websites and see if you can find any place where they link to other template-related sites. Not where they link to other sites in general, but where they might link out to sites that sell web templates, like us.
As you look at these sites, ask yourself, "Under what conditions would they potentially link to Adams Site?"
- Might they give us a one-way link, just by asking politely? (the most valuable, but sites will rarely do it)
- Are they going to require a two-way link exchange? (reciprocal, so not valued very highly)
- Do they have another site or sites which they use for three-way link exchanges? (better than two-way, but still not too valuable)
- Does the site engage in site-wide link exchanges? (valuable if from a small template site, but not to be over done)
- Do they do two-way link exchanges from the homepage? (still reciprocal, but of a little higher value than internal)
This process can be repetitious and boring, with long stretches of time going by that will feel unproductive . . . much like fishing in WoW. However, these are the sites we want linking to us more than any others.
